LOCALISATION
I have chosen to set up my installation in the rotunda of the YSL museum, as this is the space through which visitors enter. My installation will be there to welcome and offer an experience worthy of Moroccan hospitality, a moment of disconnection and sharing.
CONCEPT
Built with traditional Moroccan materials, it evokes the majesty of Tuareg tents, with their elegant lines and organic shapes. Every detail is designed to transport our visitors into a captivating universe, where the past and present meet harmoniously.
At the heart of this concept lies a clever innovation: copper cubes arranged around the structure capture the heat of the sun to warm the water, thus creating an authentic experience respectful of Moroccan tradition. As our visitors step inside, they are greeted by a warm and familiar atmosphere, where the intoxicating scents of fresh mint and hot tea instantly envelop them.
It is a space that is both contemplative and participatory, where visitors both observe and take part in the making of traditional Moroccan tea. This experience offers everyone the opportunity to get lost in the sensory delights of Moroccan tea while feeling right at home.
